The 2009 Loudoun County Stream Assessment Project


In early 2009, Loudoun County, Department of Building & Development contracted with an environmental consulting firm to have assessments conducted on streams in the county as part of the Water Resources Monitoring Program. Project Manager: David Ward. Support Staff: Scott Sandber, Glen Rubis, , Dennis Cumbie and Kelly Baty.


The project was partially funded by a grant from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). Work began in early 2009 and was completed in October 2009.


Field surveys were performed by:

    Versar:    Nancy Roth, Beth Franks, and Brenda Morgan and by

    Biohabitats:    Michael Thompson and Ellen McClure.

The contract value was $280,000.
